Since 1949, the thoroughbred meeting has taken place alternately on the racetracks in Moscow, Warsaw, Budapest and Berlin. In recent years, a total of 13 international races have been held on two race days each. The most important races of the thoroughbred meeting are the "Peace Prize", the "Moscow Prize" and the "Grand Prix of the International Congress of Horse Breeding of the Socialist States".
