On 1 June this year, the world exhibition EXPO 2000 in Hanover opened its doors. By 31 October, visitors from around the world had around 180 official participants, including almost 160 countries. The idiosyncratic, imaginative architecture of the national pavilions, designed by the most famous architects in the world, surprised again and again, such as the 6,000 square meter Japanese pavilion made of paper and cardboard rolls or the German contribution, a pavilion with curved glass fronts, whose roof was exclusively made was worn through glass. However, the EXPO was more than the sum of all information presentations and multi-media effects. It was a big day every day, attended by international stars.
