With the single »Alles auf die Andrea Doria«, Udo Lindenberg achieved his international breakthrough in 1973. Ten years later he reaffirmed his goal of performing in the GDR with the song "Sonderzug nach Pankow". But Udo is not just a singer. He started to draw with his »Udograms« and in 1997 patented his painting with liqueurs as »liqueur«. In his artistic oeuvre, Lindenberg stood up for freedom and humanity, against violence - provocative, with irony and personal commitment. The drummer, lyricist, composer, singer and painter is an all-round artist who fascinates and polarises.
