The brand motif shows a striking partial view of the residential building "Rabenhof" in the 3rd district of Vienna and on the right the contours of nearby residential buildings. The refurbishment of Alt-Erdberg was regarded as an Austrian example that goes far beyond the narrower city limits of Vienna for a purposefully promoted rehabilitation process of outdated neighborhoods. Especially the 19th century brought the decay of the Alt-Erdberger area, the Althausbestandes with small and smallest mainly ground-level objects and stables. The economically weak situation Erdbergs led to an increasingly rapid decline of the building fabric. Already after the First World War, in the year 1924, the first section of the restoration of old Erdbergs with the establishment of the "Rabenhofes" began within the framework of the social housing program of the city Vienna. Around 5000 people found their new home in this residential complex. The second section of the renovation efforts began only after 1950. In place of the remainder Alt-Erdberg a new Erdberg with all the associated cultural and social facilities.
