From May 30 to June 4, 2000, the Vienna International Postage Stamp Exhibition "WIPA 2000" will take place. In addition, the anniversary "150 Years Austrian Stamp" is celebrated. On June 1, 1850, the first stamps were issued in Austria: By order of March 26, 1850, the prepayment of the postage was made the rule.
