The technical progress makes it possible that soon each postal customer can have its own stamp, presumably spring 2004. This mark is the prototype of the future stamps with the logo of the post office as Bild.Schon for some time there are brands in different countries, where an attached blank field can be customized. Photos, portraits, drawings, texts and the like can be provided by the customer and are printed in the blank field. One unit then consists of brand plus decorative field. In some cases, the space for individualized design is integrated into the brand. Österreichische Post AG goes this route: The Austrian brands have only one frame, which is graphically designed and contains the value. The interior of the brand is empty and can be customized by the customer. The frame contains some security features that are currently common among Austrian brands. Even the basic mark alone with empty infield is a valid Postwertzeichen. With this brand, Swiss Post meets the wishes of customers who have long been looking for suitable brands for specific personal occasions. For example, invitations to a birthday party with the portrait of the birthday child can be sent to the brand.
