Artistic gymnastics is the sportive form of gymnastics as part of the gymnastics founded by Friedrich Ludwig Jahn in 1811. Since the beginning of the modern Olympic Games in 1896, artistic gymnastics has been part of the Olympic program, since the Olympic Games in 1952 also for women in individual competitions and not only, as since 1928, in the team fight. Artistic gymnastics demands above all the multi-fighter type, the versatile experts in the Olympic disciplines, that is with the men floor gymnastics, gymnastics on the pommel horse, on the rings, on ingot and horizontal bar, as well as in the horse jump; floor gymnastics, horse jump, uneven bars and the difficult gymnastics on the balance beam.
