The proceeds from the special postage stamps »For Sport« will benefit the Deutsche Sporthilfe Foundation and thus support the social interests and tasks of the Foundation in all areas of sport. On July 4, 2004, the so-called miracle of Bern celebrated its 50th anniversary. In the World Cup final against the favored Hungary succeeded at that time of the German national football team in Wankdorf Stadium to transform a 0: 2 backlog in a 3-2 win. Sagittarius of the winner was the legendary Helmut Rahn. The title win has gone down in German history as one of the most important sports events and even became the subject of a successful feature film.
