The proceeds from the special postage stamps »For Sport« will benefit the Deutsche Sporthilfe Foundation and thus support the social interests and tasks of the Foundation in all areas of sport. 100 years ago, on 21 May 1904, FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) was founded in Paris. It is the international association of national football associations. FIFA, based in Zurich, has set itself the task of organizing international competitions such as the World Cup, consolidating relations between nations and peoples, and monitoring compliance with the rules of the game in the member associations.
