The stamp series »For Sports« is dedicated to four outstanding international sporting events in Germany in 1995. From the 9th to the 15th of July Berlin will also host the 10th World Gymnaestrada. This is the largest mass sports event in the world, with more than 20,000 participants from over 30 countries expected to attend a World Fair of Gymnastics and Gymnastics, under the motto »Happy Gymnastics«. The sports performances and shows are presented without any competition thoughts.
