The special postal stamp "Post!" Is the second stamp of a series that wants to emphasize the personal character of a letter as an individual message. The term post comes from the Italian word "posta" and originally meant a fixed breakpoint on the transport route where horses and messengers were changed. Each letter was transported from item to item - up to its recipient. Later, the new means of transport developed in the Industrial Revolution allowed rapid transportation by road, rail, water and air. This increasingly rapid communication is symbolized by the four differently sized words »Post!«. It always remains the goal of the post office to connect people across all distances and borders through the personal medium letter.
