The special stamps of the series »For Sport« appear with surcharges in favor of the »Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe«. The aggregate proceeds support the Foundation's work in all areas of sport. The »2006 FIFA World Cup Germany ™« is getting closer and becoming more and more present. This is ensured by World Cup posters, articles and advertisements in magazines as well as reports on television and on the radio. And in some places, the World Cup provides sensational spectacles: in Hamburg, for example, blue gates made of fluorescent tubes are attached to the most striking towers in the city, in which shots are projected by laser beams. Something comparable also takes place in Frankfurt am Main, where one plans a so-called SkyArena. Between the eleven widely visible bank towers in the city center, balls projected by laser should fly back and forth - accompanied by suitable music.
