On March 1, 1971, the new Highway Code came into force. It has aligned our traffic rules with international rules. After on the published on 18 February 1971 first four values of the series traffic signs are shown on the other four values traffic situations. On pedestrian crossings, vehicles, with the exception of rail vehicles, pedestrians, which want to exceed the lane on the way over recognizable, to allow the crossing.
