"intecta" - a new form of socialist trade For the Leipzig Autumn Fair 1969, a special postage stamp will appear, informing you about the concern of "intecta". This new term "intecta" does not mean a new machine, nor is it an expression of a commodity, not a new branch of our industry. The idea of cooperation, the socialist partnership, is taken up by the trade in order to help our people to find a nice and comfortable environment faster and easier. Nine branches of the consumer goods industry in the GDR, which produce just about everything, which gives us joy and comfort in a tasteful apartment, makes the housework easier and allows us to participate in current and cultural events, have joined this new form of trading "intecta". We are dealing with the following producers of household goods: VM - united furniture industry, IKA - Electrica, EBM - iron, sheet and metal products, RFT - radio-phono-television industry, dedaplast - plastic processing industry, Lusatian glass - household and packaging glass, decorative - interior textiles, VVB - ceramics, LK - air and refrigeration technology. These industries have developed coordinated programs for interior design in individual and social areas. The function and form of the objects that surround us daily are meaningfully and harmoniously related to each other, their vote is no longer left to the random offer. Thus, some traditional forms of trade prove to be outdated. The path from the furniture sales point to the furniture store, which is already possible in many places, will be further developed and expanded. As a result, our consumer goods industry is adapting to an international market trend. "intectca" helps people to adapt to their growing cultural needs at home and to feel at home in social spaces. A small part of the versatile "intecta" offer was used for the stamp design.
