After a break of 20 years, Deutsche Eissport has managed to maintain the orientation of the World and European Championships in ice hockey. These championships of the group A are carried out in the period from 3 to 19 April 1975 in the Federal Republic of Germany, with in each case a complete round from 3 to 10 April 1975 in the state capital Munich and from 12 to 19 April 1975 in the state capital Düsseldorf. Participants are the nations: USSR, CSSR, Sweden, Finland, Poland and the USA. Unfortunately, the team of the Federal Republic of Germany has not even achieved promotion to Group A and participates in the Group B World Championship in Sapporo / Japan at almost the same time. The World and European Championships take place annually in different countries, divided into groups A, B and C. The most powerful group is of course Group A and, understandably enough, the audience's greatest interest is in this group.
