The present brand image comes from the Austrian-wide drawing competition, which Österreichische Post AG carried out as national sponsor of the UEFA EURO 2008 ™ in cooperation with the individual regional school boards in the previous year. Students from the 7th grade were invited to deal creatively with the topic "European Football Championship". The motif of this special stamp comes from the 14-year-old Alexandra Payer from Waidhofen an der Thaya. She is a student of the Bundesgymnasium of her hometown. In a youthful and cheerful way, she is involved in her work with the host countries of UEFA EURO 2008 ™, Austria and Switzerland.
