The UEFA European Football Championship 2008 will take place from 7 to 29 June 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. In total, 31 games will be played at the European Championship. The opening match of the UEFA European Football Championship will be kicked off at the St. Jakob-Park stadium in Basel. The other venues in Switzerland are Geneva, Zurich and Bern. In Austria you play in Innsbruck, Salzburg, Klagenfurt and Vienna. The final match of the UEFA European Football Championship will take place at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna. The 13th European Championship finals will be the biggest sporting event ever in Austria and Switzerland. Six billion TV viewers worldwide will watch the sports spectacle. There are 23 days of diverse encounters waiting for the host country. Hundreds of thousands of football fans from all over Europe will join the 16 best football national teams in Europe.
