The Wachau, located in the heart of Lower Austria, in the Danube Valley, is perhaps one of the most charming landscapes in Austria. The climate of this region has been favoring winegrowing for 1000 years. The cultural heritage inherited from this tradition also includes a multitude of costumes, of which the Wachau gold bonnet is probably one of the most striking. It belongs to the festival costume of the Wachau woman, and goes to the basic form of since the 17th Century. existing simple ground cover back.
