The belt pictured on the stamp is one of the most precious pieces of jewelery of the Gailtaler costume. It was acquired in 1950 by the Provincial Museum of Carinthia and consists of lacquered calfskin with a belt tongue, which has brass-reinforced eyelets. The red patent leather edging in particular and its rich, dense, feather-quill embroidery make it a particularly valuable example of early belting, as shown by the year 1816 embroidered on the belt tongue. The belt buckle made of heavy, domed brass dates back to 1840 and was therefore added later.
