The XIII. European swimming, jumping and water polo championships were organized by the European Swimming Federation, which includes all 29 European countries. According to the statutes, the swimming sport consists of four divisions: swimming, jumping, water polo and art swimming. These four divisions have only in common that they are all four operated in the water. In Vienna, competitions are held in all categories except art swimming. The European champions in swimming are determined in four style types. Diving consists of two different disciplines, namely, diving and diving. Like swimming, water jumping is done by both ladies and gentlemen. Water Polo is played with seven field players, one of whom is the goalie, and four substitute players who can be substituted during the match. A game consists of four quarters of five minutes of pure playing time, interrupted by a break of two minutes each. The brand image shows a jump phase in water jumping.
