From June 3 to 5, 1971, the Ecumenical Whitsun Meeting takes place in Augsburg, organized jointly by the Central Committee of German Catholics and the German Protestant Kirchentag. For the first time, an ecumenical review will be attempted at a joint major event. Six working groups have been working on it for half a year in order to put together a basis for discussion that will be discussed in Augsburg. The program focuses on the issues of faith and churches, worship, marriage, care for the individual: individual life support, foreign workers and development.
