The motif shows a circular ornament around the value. The stamps of the edition from 21 June 1948 have the same motifs as those of the "Allied Occupation - Joint Edition" (catalog number 912, 917-923, 925-929, 931, 932, 934 and 936 - I. Control Council Edition), except that here the stamps have either been printed with a set of mugs between two belt strips, or by postal horns all over the area.
