The motive shows the historical town hall of the Satdt Bad Waldsee. The town received the city rights in 1298 and belonged from 1331 to 1806 to Austria. There are many old buildings of various styles, for example the moated castle of Prince Waldburg. The town hall was built in 1426 and is considered to be the most beautiful town hall of Gothic style in Upper Swabia. Catalog numbers 28 to 34 were published in November 1948 and March 1949 respectively. For the sake of systematics, the editors note the first day of each month as the first day of issue.
