Shows Johann Christoph Friedrich von Schiller. The well-known writer and poet was born on 10 November 1759 in Marbach (Württemberg). Under the influence of the Sturm und Drang, a literary movement characterized by passionate and anti-Enlightenment ideologies, he wrote several political youth works, such as Die Räuber in 1781 and Kabale und Liebe in 1784. After 1791 his works were influenced by Kant , From 1798 he wrote in collaboration with Goethe several ballads and dramas. Including "The Diver" and "William Tell". In 1802 Schiller was knighted. He died on May 9, 1805 in Weimar.
