This rock formation of federal sandstone consists of a ca. 12 meter high rock needle, which carries a 50 square meter and 300 tons heavy rock slab. So it's only a matter of time before the whole thing collapses. This shape gave the rock its name. He was first climbed on August 26, 1923.
