The new edition shows one of the most famous letters of German philately - the Eichstätt letter. He was found in 1959 in Eichstätt in Upper Bavaria and is franked with a block of six of the first German stamp - the black one of the Kingdom of Bavaria. These stamps appeared on November 1, 1849. "Black ones" are very rare. Special feature: In the 10th sheet of this edition, a security die-cut in the form of an oak leaf is integrated between each horizontal pair.
