The new edition shows one of the most famous letters of German philately - the Eichstätt letter. He was found in 1959 in Eichstätt in Upper Bavaria and is franked with a block of six of the first German stamp - the black one of the Kingdom of Bavaria. These stamps appeared on November 1, 1849. "Black ones" are very rare. Special feature: In the 10th sheet of this edition, a security die-cut in the form of an oak leaf is integrated between each horizontal pair. So there are brands that have this special punching on the left or on the right side.
