It is a matter of course for the Austrian Post and Telegraph Administration to promote domestic and foreign stamp collectors and to promote the popularity and distribution of the stamp. The aim of promoting the stamps and the care of the collectors is also the merger of the Austrian stamp collectors in a philatelic umbrella organization, which endeavors to comply with their self-imposed commitment. It requires endless effort and work, for which an individual would never muster the strength and perseverance. It must be many like-minded people who, in constant dedication, strive to achieve this goal: to mediate the pacifist ideas and to integrate them into the world-wide community of philately. A small financial aid for this means in this context, the dedication of the surcharge of this mark in the amount of 70g. The brand image shows the post office Vienna 101 with track hall.
