More than 100 years ago, Waldemar Bonsels created the little bee Maya, which has since made millions of children's hearts beat with their friends and their adventures and has long since become a world-famous cult figure. Now, in the series "comic book puzzle", the smart bee is presented on a special stamped special stamp. In 1912, "The Bee Maya and Her Adventures," a novel for children, tells of a curious bee that lives in a tree hole and denies many adventures. 1915 followed the band "Himmelsvolk. A fairytale of flowers, animals and God ". Whether caught in the net of a spider, hunted by hornets or met by an elven man - the small hearted Maja always finds a way out, and the merchant Jakob Ernst Waldemar Bonsels was thanks to her a celebrated writer. The stories about Bee Maja have been translated into over 40 languages and sold millions of copies - today they are among the most famous classics of children's and youth literature. Already in 1924, the filming of the first Bee Maja film began, which was directed by Wolfram Junghans and shot with live animals. In the mid-1970s ZDF decided to produce a TV series in cooperation with Apollo Film, ORF and the Japanese studio Zuiyo Enterprise. The characters and the script were provided by the American comic artist Marty Murphy, who provided Maja with her bee friend Willi and the grasshopper Flip. The series went on air in 1976 with a total of 104 episodes in Germany and Austria and not only enjoyed immense popularity, but also set in motion an immense merchandising machinery - soon the naughty bee Maja on school supplies, toys or sweets and was a plush toy be acquired. In 2012, the Belgian company Studio 100, the ZDF and the French broadcaster TF1 developed a new, computer-animated TV series with Bee Maja in 3D, which is now the next generation of children with some new characters such as the snail Rufus, the dung beetle Ben or the ladybird Lara cast a spell on her. The famous theme song presented by Karel Gott also received a contemporary interpretation from Helene Fischer. In September 2014, the happy bee finally comes to the cinema and messes up the beehive in the old manner, but modern 3D technology again - as Maja is accused of having stolen precious royal jelly, she goes with Willi in search of the true thief. The special stamp "The Bee Maya" contains more than can be seen with the naked eye: A QR code on the back of the puzzle mark leads to an application by means of a mobile phone. Thus, an "augmented reality effect" can be activated, the Maja in 3D on the stamp whirring, by tapping more animations can be started.
