Ambassador of Austrian wine culture The name Lenz Moser is inextricably linked to Austria's viticulture. The present-day cellar Lenz Moser in Rohrendorf near Krems, whose first documentary mention goes back to the year 1040, is regarded as a starting point for important impulses for the care of Austrian wine culture. Thus, the "Lenz Moser high culture" was founded here, which revolutionized viticulture in the 1950s. These and other pioneering achievements made Haus Lenz Moser what it is today: the market leader on the Austrian market with quality wines from Austria. And as the most important exporter of Austrian quality wine in bottles, Lenz Moser carries Austria's wine culture to many countries in Europe, the USA, Canada and the Far East. High culture on a natural basis In addition to the headquarters in Rohrendorf Lenz Moser manages the castle winery of the Sovereign Order of Malta Knights in Mailberg / Weinviertel and the monastery cellar Siegendorf / Burgenland. Here, not only the Lenz Moser high culture is cultivated, but also worked on aspects of organic viticulture: quality goes before quantity, organic fertilization, natural pest control and gentle weed killing are the focus. Relationship culture bears fruit Lenz Moser works exclusively with winegrowers and winegrowers' cooperatives from the winegrowing regions of Lower Austria and Burgenland. This ensures that every Lenz Moser wine comes only from Austrian vineyards. Around 3000 selected winemakers benefit from the support of experienced Lenz Moser oenologists. Quality as an expression of the corporate culture At Lenz Moser, no phase of fermentation is left to chance. With state-of-the-art cellar technology and a wealth of know-how, all processes can be controlled in such a way that the maximum of that treasure that every grape holds is in the bottle. In order to always stay up to date, Lenz Moser invests a lot of time and money in research, development and technical equipment. The focus on gentle and rational processing always pursues one goal: the production of high quality wines with reasonable pricing. How well this goal is achieved, proves a long list of awards and prizes for Lenz Moser wines at national and international competitions and tastings.
