The brand motif shows a small statue of Jesus, the so-called mercy figure, in front of the outline of the church Christkindl in Upper Austria. The pilgrimage of Christkindl started 300 years ago and goes back to the following story: Ferdinand Sertl of Steyr, who suffered from epilepsy, bought a small statue of Jesus made of wax, hoping that his faith and prayers would heal his illness. When Sertl seemed to have overcome his suffering after a few years, more and more people came to him to ask for their concerns as well. In 1702, therefore, the construction of a pilgrimage church was begun, which was planned by Giovanni Battista Carlone and completed by Jakob Prandtauer. Above all, the high altar, carved by Leonhard Sattler, still impresses today, for it is said that the mystery of the Christian faith is reflected in him: God becomes man through the power of the Spirit, and through the suffering and dying of this man become God World redeemed.
