This Christmas brand commemorates the millenium of the Christianization of Ukraine. Exactly 1000 years ago, the then Grand Duke of this region, the Volodymyr (Vladimir) the Great, who was canonized by the Church, introduced his state to the Christian faith through his baptism. The stamp shows a Christmas icon from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church to St. Barbara in Postgasse No. 8 in Vienna. For the Ukrainians living in Austria, St. Barbara, hidden in the large building of the Post-Directorate General in the city center of Vienna, is the spiritual and cultural center in Austria. The large festive icon painted on wood shows the twelve main festivals of the Christian Church and in the In the middle a larger representation of the risen Christ.
