The brand image shows the portraits of the creators of the Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night", Josef Mohr and Franz X. Gruber. The auxiliary priest Josef Mohr wrote the text for this work, which was set to music by the schoolmaster and organist Franz Gruber. Mohr was born on December 11, 1792 in Salzburg. His acquaintance with Franz Xaver Gruber originated in Oberndorf, where he came in 1817 and where he was auxiliary pastor. However, in 1819 he had to leave this post and his friend Gruber, one year after their Christmas carol was written. From his chief shepherd was subsequently assigned to the parish vicariate in Wagram, where he worked until his death on 4 December 1848. Franz Xaver Gruber was the third child of a linen weaver to Hochburg am Inn and was born on 25 November 1787. His musical talent was recognized early on, and in 1807 he passed the apprenticeship exam, after having previously devoted himself to musical education. In 1816 he took over the vacant organist position of the St. Nicholas Parish Church in Oberndorf and made friends with Joseph Mohr. In 1833 he took over the city chancellor's office in Hallein and unfolded there until his death on June 7, 1863 a busy musical activity.
