The stamp depicting Our Lady with the Infant Jesus from the picture "The Nativity" from the Vienna Scots Altar is owned by the Benedictine Abbey of Our Lady to the Scots in Vienna. The kneeling figure of Mary, holding the baby Jesus on her outstretched arms, seems balanced, despite this difficult movement. The artist has given a bell-shaped outline with the help of the wide mantle of Maria. The panel from which this detail is taken is now in the collection of the Schottenstift and belonged to the former high altar of the church "Our Lady to the Scots in Vienna", a three-part winged altarpiece. Of a total of 24 image fields, 21 are still preserved. On the occasion of a choir reconstruction of the church during the Baroque period, the shrine and the entrances to the altar were lost, as well as the reliefs visible on the back of the inner wings.
