The glass set designed by Peter Behrens (1868-1940) is almost a hundred years old and yet modern. Although intended for a variety of drinks, the individual vessels differ in size and proportion with identical outlines. Also world famous: the tea-extractable jug made of silver-plated brass designed by Marianne Brandt (1893-1983). The addition of different forms created here an object of perfect harmony. The table lamp developed by Wilhelm Wagenfeld (1900-1990) also stands for balanced proportions. It is now a design classic, such as the "Wassily" armchair designed by Marcel Breuer (1902-1981), one of the first tubular steel chairs in the 1920s.
