The 50-pfennig value presents a motor cargo ship from a series that was produced in the years 1961 to 1963 by the shipbuilding industry of the GDR in several shipyards. With a length of 67.00 m and a width of 8.19 m, the ship has a carrying capacity of 630 t with a draft of 2.00 m. The machine output is 309 kW. This type of ship is used on the entire main waterways of the GDR and in cross-border traffic and is particularly suitable for the transport of high-quality goods.
