The special edition on the 100th anniversary of the Gustav Werner Foundation on 3 September 1949 shows Gustav Werner after a bust of Ruff. The Protestant pastor was born in 1809 in Zwiefalten. He worked from 1827 to 1834 in the Tübingen pin. In 1840 he went to Reutlingen, where he founded the Gustav Werner Foundation in 1849, before he died in 1887.
