The new special stamp, which combines the two topics "Technical Museum Vienna" and "Mercedes Silberpfeil" in a spectacular way, is another example of modern stamp design. The stamp produced in lenticular technique shows in an effective way "the most beautiful form of technology" in vivid and mobile depth. Hardly any other racing car has a similarly legendary cult status as the Silver Arrow. From 1934 to 1939, Mercedes Benz and Auto Union jointly built German Grand Prix cars. The cars, which originally emerged from this alliance, were given the unofficial name "Silberpfeil" due to their eye-catching livery. This term soon became a kind of myth and glorified worldwide. No wonder, since the former superiority of these cars in international racing was almost proverbial. (Incidentally, there is also an automotive alliance with McLaren, whose silver-colored racing cars are still often referred to as "Silver Arrows"!) As with the lenticular brands in the Past - the New Zealand company "Outer Aspect" responsible. The special know-how of this company makes it one of the world's leading providers of effective image displays
