Dü-da-doo - the legendary triadic horn of Swiss Postbuses was introduced only in 1923, the first mountain routes were however, already in operation in 1919: the lines Chur-Laax in the Grisons and Brig-Domodossola over the Simplon. In addition to their benefits for the regional Traffic and the resident population These two routes are due to the attractive mountains also from larger ones touristic meaning. The first Graubünden postal bus line led first from Reichenau to Flims and was later expanded. Today it drives Postbus from Chur to Laax, being a part the original route now through the Rhaetian Railway is operated. The way leads through the majestic wide Rhine Valley and then via Tamins and Trin to the mountain sports arena Flims-Laax with their countless Attractions. The Simplon route is always there today still unchanged as it was 100 years ago: Von Brig leads them to the border town of Gondo and via Iselle into the magical Italian town Domodossola with its picturesque Old Town. It offers magnificent views on the sun terraces of Belalp, Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Rosswald.
