Exactly 100 years had passed since October 25, 1976, when a public hearing had taken place for the territories of the former multinational state of the monarchy for the first time before the Administrative Court. Administrative justice is a means for the purpose of restricting power in administration. The Administrative Court is responsible for all cases in which someone feels violated by a decision or order of an administrative authority in its law. A provision, which has found its way into the Federal Constitution from an earlier law (1875), which refers to the establishment of an administrative court, reads: "To ensure the legality of the entire public administration, the Administrative Court in Vienna is called." Thus, the connection of Article 1 of the Federal Constitution, according to which the right emanates from the people, is established for supreme court power and decision. The stamp image shows a print of Salomon Klein's "Prospect of the Royal Bohemian Court Chancellery in Wipplingerstraße", the seat of the Administrative Court.
