The struggle of the Vietnamese people struggling for their freedom, the struggle of the Arab peoples against the aggression of Israel, the struggle for national independence of the peoples of Africa, Asia and Latin America against the neo-colonial, imperialist policy is in any case a struggle for peace. These young peoples have realized that imperialism, as long as it exists, keeps producing the circumstances and dangers of new trouble spots that can threaten peace. From this grows the ever-growing circle of firm certainty, and in this spirit the deliberations of the meeting will be conducted in Berlin, that the forces of peace will continue to strengthen and the development will lead to eliminating wars from the peoples' lives forever.
