On June 20, the issue of the first postage stamps starts a new permanent series. The theme is the same for all values. It shows on a colored background in an oval field the value number in Arabic numerals and below it the posthorn in negative print. The oval is framed by the inscription "Deutsche Bundespost" in antiqua on a hatched background.
