Not so long ago, a stinking, dirty-yellow cloud was hovering over the Upper Austrian capital. In the meantime, the industrial city has been freed from this episode of steelmaking and is successfully striving to gain the reputation of a modern city of technology and culture. A cultural development plan unites the efforts of politicians, artists and the interested population. In the public this pursuit becomes particularly clear through the Ars Electonica and the sound cloud events of the Brucknerhaus. To kick off on 7.9. At 9 pm in the picturesque Donaupark the "Visualized Sound Cloud" will provide an audio-visual experience. Last year, composer Christian Muthspiel and scenic designer Hans Hoffer wanted to convey Johannes Kepler's "Von der Harmonie der Welt" ("From the Harmony of the World") to its own sound and light presentation as an audio-visual experience. A storm prevented this in the previous year. This year we want to present this attempt of man to perceive a cosmic order, but also to point out our planetary lostness in the universe. The technology offers incredible impressions through light, water and laser manipulation and the world's largest Dolby Surround system with 250,000 watts of sound quality. On 14.9. becomes the "children's sound cloud" and on 15.9. offered the "classical sound cloud" that initiates the Brucknerfest.
