The composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756 in Salzburg. Already as a boy he traveled all over Europe and became famous as a prodigy on the violin and the piano. In addition, he composed masterfully as a twelve-year-old. Mozart learned from the musical greats of his time, such as Johann Christian Bach or Joseph Haydn. In his second half of life Mozart lived in Vienna, where he moved as a freelance artist in the highest social circles. Mozart died at the age of 35 in Vienna on 5 December 1791 and was buried in the Marx cemetery. He created 675 works of the most diverse vocal and instrumental genres and thus influenced the history of music until today.
